Oh baby, I'm soooo tired :)

There was an Oprah episode years and years ago with a couple on there who were arguing about the frequency of sex in their marriage and the man, in a very low, lazy drawl kept saying, "oh baby, I'm sooooo tired" It was really funny...I tried to find a clip of it but couldn't....trust me, too funny. And although my post has nothing to do with sex at all.....I'm still sooooo tired.
I've started walking in the mornings again. Not my best time, but better than never. Work is tiring sometimes. I'm cramming to get my calendar project done for CHA. I taught 2 classes today at Scrapbook Cottage. My kids are busy. My husband's busy. Whew. And now I come home to a sink full of dishes, a HUGE pile (actually 2 or 3 piles) of laundry, and, Oh baby, I'm sooooo tired.

Ok.
Dishes.
One more load.
And off to bed.
Just wanted to rant a little.

Here's the class I taught twice today:And...if you're a blog-hopper....come join us on Saturday (National Scrapbooking Day) for a Blog Hop sponsored by my Stamp BOX. These stamps are really cute and you'll find inspiration at every blog you visit, and have a chance to win some stamps!!!

Happy Earth Day...and finally, some follow through...

I am the Queen of starting projects for my kids and not finishing them. I hate that. So last night....Trev was out playing football with the boys and Mica & I were looking for something to do together and I remembered that she had this pair of jeans she'd outgrown that she wanted to keep for some project....and we ended up making this bag for her. It's open at the top so I'm not sure it'll make a great schoolbag, but today it's going to be her school bag. The front and back are the tops of her pants, with the legs sown shut. The bottom of the bag is a double layer from one leg, and the strap is a double layer too - the entire other leg of the pants. Nothing wasted. How's that for recycling on Earth Day :)

Happy Easter

Just stopping in to wish you all a Happy Easter. Hope you're having a great break from school/work, etc, that you're having a great time with family, that you're eating too much chocolate :) and that you've been thinking lots about what this season really means and Jesus did for us to set us free!
He is risen!

Happy Easter

I don't usually make Easter Cards....but I have a quick one for you this year :)

God bless you as you celebrate this Easter season!
He is Risen!

my Stamp BOX Blog Hop

Hey! You made it!
Thanks for stopping by my blog
for the my Stamp BOX Blog Hop!

I have a quick card to show with the very first set of my Stamp BOX stamps I ever recieved...the Color Me Not Alphabet. I couldn't resist this bold but very fun alphabet. I've used it on several layouts already (it's perfect for titles and monograms) and for the blog hop, I made this baby card....stamping the letters in black on Kraft, trimming them closely in vertical rectangles and then outlining my rectangles with black pen. It's a great size (letters measure aprox. 1 1/4" tall) to have on hand for almost any type of project!

The other cool thing you should know about my Stamp BOX stamps is that they come in these great CD cases. Easy storage...and the bottoms flip out so they stand at your workspace just like this. No hunting around for lost letters. They're all right in front of you and the front flips back around when you're done to seal them back up.

Thanks for stopping by!
If you're in the middle of our Blog Hop, leave me a comment here, and then hop on over to Gudrun's Blog and check out her fabulous creations!

PS. the awesome blog design some of you have commented on is a freebie from Delightful Dots (except for the hack header that I tried myself...and I'm sorry I'm a photoshop newbie and it's lame, I know)

Spring Clear Scraps contest

Come check out the Clear Scraps Blog for all the great inspiring projects and techniques our DT has been putting together. And while you're there....show us some of your own stuff!

For the first 2 weeks of April (April 1-15) we're hosting a Spring contest. In your blog comment, link us up to a Spring-themed acrylic project of your own and we'll enter your name in a draw for some goodies from Clear Scraps!!

Here's mine: A piece of acrylic that I cut from a larger 12x12 sheet. Cut. Yes. With my old grey Fiskars paper trimmer (I really, really have to get a new one...but this one is still doing the trick). And scissors. I cut the scallop bottom with my Fiskateer's scissors that just came in the mail :) YAY! Those babies are SHARP. Then I layered on top and underneath the acrylic all kinds of Spring-y things. Cosmo Cricket Honey Pie and some rub-ons from Heidi Grace A Little Bird's Tale and ta-da! Springtime!
