February? Nope...just June.
I know, I know....it's not Valentine's Day. I found this cute box at my thrift store - it's from Rammekins. I cut the top out of the box and replaced it with a Clear Scraps coast that I'd run through the Cuttlebug, and altered the lid with some lovey-dovey stickers from SRM Press....I now WISH it was Valentine's Day :)
A Jumpin' we will go.
Cosmo Cricket....I'm late...but I still love them!
OK...I totally missed the CC dt call deadline. But in honour of what amazing stuff they have....here's my blog entry anyway.
Here's my CC work so far. I just picked up some delish Flouriste and funky Cogsmo!! Yahoo. So, although I'm crazy-busy getting stuff ready for CHA....here are 2 new designs with my new CC goodies:
and here's a slideshow of my previous Cosmo Cricket creations.... Thanks for looking :) I apologize for a few gaps in the slide show - Canadian Scrapbooker is publishing my Christmas morning layout and Scrapbooking Memories (Australia) is publishing my So Cherished layout.

Out of my box - 12x12s
I started scrapping with 12"x12"s....and somewhere along the way fell in love with 8 1/2" x 11" layouts. Now, only recently, I've been experimenting with 12"x12" again. Here are my 2 latest Clear Scraps 12"x12" acrylic layouts. I used these a couple of weeks ago to teach at my LSS's convention (fussy cutting, acrylic layouts, doodling, painting, white space, rule of 3rds...) so much to fit into one class but everyone had fun I think! (I took these pictures with white paper behind the acrylic b/c I still haven't gotten around to making a light box for photos yet...but they really are see-thru!).
Scraphoria June '08
I haven't been this excited about a kit in a long, long time....but Scraphoria's June Kit had Heidi Grace's A Little Bird's Tale line and it speaks to me and my fussy-cutting zone that I'm in right now!!
A few cards
I had a little time to play this week with more Clear Scraps and also some SRM stickers....here are the cards and a candy box that developed :)
Bobbing for....breakfast
Saturday morning....after a sleepover with the neighbour girls, Mica made them hot chocolate for breakfast. After watching their marshmallows float in the hot chocolate, they thought it would be a great idea to bob for apples...no wait....bob for their breakfast!! So apples, wrapped granola bars and whatever else we could find that would float, went into the bin of ice-cold water. The game ground to a halt when Mica submerged her head for a bunch of grapes that had sunk to the bottom and nearly couldn't breathe from the shock of the cold water. Oh well....giggly girls on not enough sleep and anything seems like a good idea at the time :)
