The New CLEAR SCRAPS team!

Clear Scraps has announced their new DT. I'm crazy-excited to have been asked to be their DT coordinator...basically I'm the information person, butt-kicker if need be, and moral booster....I think that covers it :) J&J (Janet & Jackie) are the best to work for and they've picked an amazing (and huge) team! Check out the blog in the near future for some of the new team's work!

Scraphoria's final kit :(

Tracey @ Scraphoria.ca has put together some of the most kick-butt kits around. I've been so blessed to be a part of that team and although the site lives on and the store is still in business, her great kits are no longer being offered. She's choosing to look after herself and her health. And good for her!

Anyway....here's what my brain came up with when I saw the lovely Little Yellow Bicycle paper in the kit. I made all of my DT required work...and then just couldn't stop. I took my kit on my vacation and my SIL and I made cards all week long. The very last thing I did was use up all my scraps that perfectly matched a set of Baby Chipboard I'd purchased at Dollarama (if you know me at all, you know I LOVE that place). Hope you enjoy:

Sorry...I had to pull the baby cards - they're going into the current (Dec. 08) issue of Scrapbooking News & Review.

Ta-da!

Ok, I never actually got to meet the UPS guy today so I'll never know if he's my new best friend.....

but he dropped THIS:

off at school for me today! Yikes. I can almost not think straight. I'd been warned that Lindsay at Cosmo Cricket was generous to a fault...apparently so! Yes, those are complete paper packs in the back, and 8x8 paper packs through the middle, and stickers, ribbon and STAMPS from the Jack's World line (my fav!).
Thank you Lindsay, and thank you Kristen.

Know what else made me smile? The return address label said "Jon," who I'm assuming is The Famous Jon: The Warehouse Guy.

And what a lucky coincidence for me that all 3 of my kids have playdates or birthday parties to go to tonight :) Oh, and the Bombers are playing so Trev is otherwise occupied as well :) It's a good, good day!

The UPS guy

I don't know his name....but I think tomorrow, the UPS guy is going to be my new best friend. According to my tracking numbers, I should be getting a box tomorrow from Cosmo Cricket!! Lindsay was SO. Very. Nice. at CHA and offered to send me some product to work on because they swap product with SRM stickers (thank you Susan for the introduction!). I was thinking a little bit of product, but the box, according to UPS, weighs in at 5.7 pounds. Sheesh.....what could it possibly be???

New Gig!

Remember Clear Scraps? My Design Team that I've been working on? (If you know me at all, you probably are sick of me talking about them already :) )

Well....they just finished their new DT call - hired a bunch of new designer....and asked ME (yup, little old me) to be the DT coordinator. I'm really excited. Basically I'm the go-between and the email answerer, and the whip-cracker :) if stuff's not getting done. I just got the list of designers today and it looks like an amazing group - I can't wait to see what they all come up with. When we hear back from them all - I'll post the list here, and at 2peas!

Wish me luck :)

A good fit.

Don't you love it when your whole life feels like everything FITS. It's all falling into place and working together well. I took a tote full of card-making supplies to my in-laws for my holidays this past week....not everything I own (whew....I'd need an RV for that) but my Rose Moka paper, my Clear Scraps embellishments and some new Purple Onion Stamps I just scored! Love these stamps!!! And ta-da....some cards I'm loving right now.

Back-to-school

It was the first day of school today...and guess what I forgot....yeah - to take pictures of the kids. Sheesh....how long have I been doing this? Every year I take pictures of the kids in front of the same tree, in the same spot, with their new backpacks, etc....but Oh, no. Totally forgot.
Tune in tomorrow for pictures of the kids on their Second-day-of-back-to-school.
