Held

I know this song wasn't written about my situation but here it is anyway, speaking words of truth that go beyond the specific sufferings that brought it into being...

"...This is what it means to be held
How it feels, when the sacred is torn from your life
And you survive
This is what it is to be loved and to know
That the promise was when everything fell
We'd be held..."

Mommy Moment

I just found this new blog run by someone I know....Mommy Moment (mommymoment.ca).  She reviews products - how fun is that??  It took me about 20 seconds to find something on her site that I've been looking for - a great sports bra. I've been going to the gym for almost a year now...basically so I could continue to eat the way I'd been eating.  Now that I'm starting to work on that too....I need to start taking the gym a little more seriously too.  I think something like this would make it even better. Check this out....and it's a giveaway too so, enter to win yourself one :)

She has other giveaways too....I may press my luck a little and try for a few of these....why don't you?

Mommy Moment Blog - Paper Mate $50 prize pack giveaway (who doesn't need a great pen??)

Mommy Moment Blog - $300 Family Prize Pack

Mommy Moment Blog - Weiser Keyless Entry deadbolt

Mommy Moment Blog - Nature's Sleep Pillow (I'm sleepy just thinking about it)

Good luck!!  And Good luck to me too :)

Easter eggs and cupcakes

I got a chance to work at my LSS this weekend!!  Yay.  If only it had spring break, summer holidays and no evenings or weekends, I'd apply for a real job there LOL....but for now, I love helping out when they need extra hands.  Before she left, the owner said, "feel free to make me some samples if you have some time to play..." so I made her some Easter eggs and cupcakes - all the non-fat variety :)

Wish I could take credit for the idea behind these Baker's Twine cupcakes but they were on the cover of the latest Scrapbooks Etc., and with the huge shipment of twine sitting on the shelf at The Scrapbook Cottage (see photo), I couldn't resist.
